Using Cryosurgery Equipment SafelyMany surgeries use Liquid Nitrogen Cryosurgery (sometimes called cryotherapy) as the most efficient method for the controlled destruction and removal of unwanted lesions, especially on the skin. The equipment needed to undertake cryosurgery consists of a storage vessel, which contains liquid nitrogen and a CryoPro® applicator. CryoService are a leading supplier of this equipment to the cryosurgery market. It is essential that all members of staff who are involved in either the handling, storage, filling or use of the CryoPro® applicator and liquid nitrogen storage vessel are fully trained. Each of the three online modules contain a series of exercises and multiple choice tests that must be successfully completed before a candidate has ‘passed’ the e-learning. Part Two: DVD Once a candidate has successfully completed the e-learning content they will be sent a DVD, which explains how to correctly use the CryoPro® applicator. It is essential that staff successfully complete the e-learning and view the DVD before using the CryoPro® The training package is priced at £75 per candidate. It comprises of one e-Learning code and one copy of the DVD per candidate, with certification and supporting literature.
